It wasn't perfect when Cearra noticed the baby had been so very quiet that day; when orange juice and laying on her side failed to make him kick.
It wasn't perfect when we got the call, a full month before her due date, saying the doctors were prepping for an emergency C-section.
It wasn't perfect that Tim was hundreds of miles away, serving our country at his National Guard weekend.
It wasn't perfect that Bob jumped in the car and drove 8 hours through torrential rains to get there, while Owen and I waited nervously at home.
It wasn't perfect that the baby was so small, and needed a week in NICU to help with his breathing and growing and becoming.
But ...
Jameson Eastwood Nocera is perfect.
Welcome to the world little man. Nana and Pop-pop will love you always.

Wow, it's been so very long since I've read your post but love reading and catching up. You don't know me, I worked with your dad years ago at PPL. He lead me to your post and for the longest time I watched as your children grew and now you have a grand child. Just wow! I wish you and your family an amazing life.
I came to say the same thing as Dayna! I've often thought of this blog through the years and wondered if you were still posting. You should be a writer; I could read your blog all day. I too worked with your dad years ago at PPL. He lead me to your post and for the longest time I watched as your children grew and now you have a grand child. So happy to see life going well for your family
Take Care,
Tanya
