WILW - A Bag of Thankfulness

This is what my little Indian brought home from school Monday - love, love, love!

Wishing you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving!
May the spirit of recognizing and being thankful for our blessings
continue on each day of the year.

WILW

Back to WILW! Join in the fun and give me some comment love with your favorites this week!

First up, loving that Mom hosted a Westminster Soap Company Sample Spa last Saturday. WSC is my friend Amy's pride and passion - organic bath and body products she makes by hand. I had so much fun flexing my creative side writing copy and coming up with presentation ideas, and the ladies all loved the products. Cearra came along and set up a beautiful Mary Kay display, and she had a great day too!

Delish WSC foaming hand soaps. If you want to host a spa
or try a product, let me know!

Found this on Pinterest a while back and it just took my breath away - gorgeous!

Remember a previous WILW had me loving the combo of hot pink and orange? Well, look - there it is again! This time it's a bag from Owen's first school fundraiser. The company is Mixed Bags, they have wonderful stuff and really great prices! Please take a look at HERE and let me know by phone, text or comment if you'd like to order anything (working on getting a school ID number so you could just order online). Cearra already has a list about half a page long!!

Fall is hands down my favorite season and I am loving that football kicked off! Loving even more that our Ravens soared on Monday Night Football!

You know me - you know why I love this charm from one of my fav jewelry lines, Waxing Poetic!

And as always, I love my life!

WILW

A bit of a busy week here, so just a quick WILW today. Some things that caught my eye:

Wow! What a beautiful space!

This clock would fit right in - and I love the face!

This is amazing ... the panda face? It's actually the
ant eater's leg! How cool is that??

Love these! And love that they are made in USA

My next bead? Amber to represent Owen's birthplace.

DIY wire cloche

I'm a sucker for a silhouette

So true.
I am so thankful Owen is still such a snuggler

WILW - The Long Overdue Edition

Whew - I've been slacking! On posts in general, but especially on WILW! So, without further ado, an extra long "What I'm Loving Wednesday" edition for you ... feel free to join in and comment with any and everything you've loving!

Love, love, love that Owen and I got to spend last week in Sunset Beach, NC with my wonderful friends LeAnne and Kristi and the Kokshetau Kids! It's a bit hard for me to admit as a Jersey shore-raised child (Sea Isle City/Avalon/Stone Harbor only, nothing like that trash on MTV!!), but North Carolina really knows how to do beaches. We had a great time - a little mini golf, a little "mommy" shopping, and a lot of ice cream and cocktails.

And not only do the kids enjoy the trip, it's a real plus to have moms to talk to who get the whole adoption thing - the joys and the worries - and I love that Owen will grow up knowing he has friends who not only share similar stories but also a culture and birthplace. Good stuff.

So it's going to be 98 degrees and humid as all heck today, and I'm loving that I have a friend with a pool who is kind enough to invite us over (see you soon Kathy!!). I discovered this yummy Key Lime Pie frozen yogurt is pretty sweet to cool off with too!

I just love this bag. The shape, the colors, the "I just dropped my horse off at the stable" preppiness of it:

I love that I've been going back to the gym! Bob, Cearra and Dennis are all very good at working out and eating healthy, and they've inspired me. And yes, I love that my gym is housed in an old armory - I mean, shouldn't one always work out in a castle??

Love the beautiful birds painted by my even more beautiful sister-in-law Maria:

In summer I love to pile on a cool, casual mix of fun bracelets like these from American Eagle Outfitters. They're like friendship bracelets for grown-ups!

Speaking of, I'm loving that Owen is rocking some beachy bracelets too!

Loving that blueberries are buy one-get one free. Delish.

I'm loving that ... Cearra is home; Owen hasn't had any issues at all after his surgery and my Mom is doing well after her recent "tweak"; we have the Mechem Family Reunion and Kaufmann Family vacation coming up; the inpatients are looking good; research has shown dark chocolate helps your muscles recover from a workout; and as always, I'm loving hanging out with my very own Captain America!

WILW - Orange and Pink

Orange is having a moment. Pantone declared "Tangerine Tango" the color of 2012, and bold citrus shades are everywhere right now. And while I'm usually more of a red girl, I'm crushing on the juicy hue too!

I'm loving this fun watch. Imagine it with crisp white capris and a navy tee.

I'm loving Amy Atlas' "dessert tables". And in orange? - so pretty. Bonus love - I just won her new book thanks to Layla Grace!

Owen would rock this! And look, no collar!

I'm loving the print and pop of this chair!

Just for fun!

Yep, I like orange on it's own, but I really love it when paired with hot pink! A little Bollywood, a little pepped up prep.

So ... any guesses on the color scheme for Cearra's upcoming graduation party??

WILW - The Green Edition

First, I want to wish my beautiful, creative, talented, momfabulous sister Kris a very happy birthday! I'm loving that it's your special day and hope it's one filled with laughter and love!

Happy 29th!!

And since it's Wednesday, let's play a little WILW!

The robins are gathering, the flowers are blooming, every tree branch is heavy with buds ... Spring is right around the corner. In celebration of this season of new beginnings and growth, today I'm sharing things I'm loving that are green (please note that I also picked a picture above of my sister wearing green)!

Love everything about this outfit - so me!

Doesn't this just make you exhale?

Drama Frog!

Love, love, love!

The Lake Bead from Troll. I love lakes, I love this bead.

Green mercury glass. Swoon.

Green glass tile. Gorgeous bathroom.

Ah yes, good reminder for me!

And of course, two of my biggest loves on their John Deere green tractors! Lastly for those of you who celebrate the upcoming "green" holiday - luck of the Irish to you! Although we don't make a big to-do here - St. Patrick isn't really a rock star in either German or Kazakh culture! - Owen does love those gel window clings, so we did a little decorating.

Please tell me ... what's your favorite thing - green or not - about Spring? Have a great Wednesday!

WILW - I'm Back!!

It's been a while, so let's just get back into it shall we?

I'm loving that a sweet friend of mine, her husband, and little boy will be celebrating the gift of a baby girl this Christmas through the blessing of adoption. Congratulations Lyndsie, Daniel, Ethan and Aubrey - I am so happy for y'all!

I'm loving opening the mailbox each day. So much fun to get Christmas cards rather than just the usual assortment of bills and flyers. I enjoy seeing every one's kids grow up, hearing about family adventures, and looking at all the beautiful card designs.

I'm loving that while on a stocking filler expedition last week I found this cute little bottle of Love's Lemon perfume. This was my favorite back in my pre-teens, and I still love the fresh, slightly sugary lemon smell - so good.

I'm loving all the Christmas crafts Owen is bringing home from school these days. Gingerbread men and paintings of Christmas trees, and this adorable angel with hand print wings.

I'm loving that Cearra made Dean's list and is closer to her goal to graduate in the Spring Cum Laude and as a member of the honor society! You go girl!!

Of course I'm loving that Christmas is right around the corner (and that I am done with my shopping and wrapping)! Looking forward to spending Christmas Eve - aka my mom's birthday! - with Nana and Pop-pop; waking up at home to see what Santa brought; then joining my extended family at Aunt Jeanne's and Uncle Bud's. And I'm especially loving that Cearra is here for all of it!

Merry Christmas All!
