BoJo

Yep, this is otherwise known as the "About Us" section, but isn't our celebrity couple name more fun?

About Jodi
Jodi considers herself lucky to have grown up on Philadelphia's Main Line; a leafy area known for old money (unfortunately not Jodi's family's old money), the Devon Horse Show, and being featured prominently in "The Preppy Handbook". This last item explains not only Jodi's high school wardrobe but also her enthusiasm for dressing Owen in all things Polo.

After graduating from Penn State with a degree in Socializing Liberal Arts, and a brief stint working for Bell of Pennsylvania, Jodi moved to Virginia Beach and enrolled at Old Dominion for graduate school. It's then she realized she could not in fact save the world with talk therapy and a smile, instead settling into a career managing proposals and contracts for The Atlantic Group.

Bob says Jodi is warm, caring, compassionate; willing to work hard for things; and has an open and accepting approach to life.

About Bob
Born and raised in Cumberland, Maryland, Bob grew up with West Virginia as his backyard and the athletic fields as his playground. In high school  he excelled in sports, friendships, and growing a Tom Selleck approved mustache.

A few semesters at Allegheny College were enough to convince Bob he was ready for "the real world"; he began working hard and never looked back, starting his first company, Mechem Power Inspections, at the age of 23. He also married and joyfully welcomed his first princess, Cearra Marie.

Selling MPI to The Atlantic Group brought him to Virginia Beach (see where this is going?) where he became the youngest manager at the company (guess who was the second youngest).

Jodi admires Bob's giving and helpful nature, great sense of humor, and his positive, optimistic outlook on life.

About Us
Jodi and Bob married in Norfolk, Virginia in 1996, with six-year old Cearra serving as flower girl. People still talk about what a great party the reception was. They bought their first house, decided never again to attempt hanging wallpaper together, and proved they were telling the truth about those "in sickness and health" vows.

A move back to Maryland and some job opportunities gone awry led Bob to start American Efficiency Services, which is it's 10th year in operation. After stints at two start-up companies, Jodi retired from Willis Insurance Brokers in 2006 to take on her greatest job so far, being mom to Owen.

Happily settled in Westminster (a town that boosts a store which proudly sells furniture and lawn mower parts), Bob and Jodi enjoy traveling to new places, cheering on the Baltimore Ravens, spending time with family, and playing cards with friends. One day they hope to own a cabin in the woods where Bob can fish and Jodi can read. Cearra and Owen are their biggest joy and they feel blessed to have each other and two amazing kids.
