A New Angel

Lexi, please welcome her with soft purrs and licks; Nana P, please hold her gently on your lap and stroke her head. Our sweet, brave Ava had to leave us tonight and she's coming your way in Heaven.

We'll miss her so much.

You loved her and gave her a wonderful home. And, you never gave up on her, when others might have. I hope you find some comfort in that. Good-bye, Ava.

Jodi,
I know how hard it is and will be for a while. Then the good memories will be nearly all you remember.

I'm so, so sorry. You gave Ava a wonderful life. Your home and the unconditional love each of you gave her was a precious gift. Your memorable pictures of Ava will be a treasure for years to come.
Loving thoughts, Nanny

Dear Jodi...I know for a fact that the three of mine who have passed on to a better life of running, sunning and chasing butterflies were waiting for Ava. They have all given so much in this lifetime that their unselfish commitment to us can't help but be rewarded where they are now...I understand. Love, pam

I can't say exactly why, though I have an idea, why this saddens me so deeply. I don't feel it quite as profoundly as when Max left the world, but still it touches a place in my heart that is somehow connected to the tear springs in my eyes. I know you will feel her loss for sometime and that is not a new feeling to you and I know that it passes. Sometimes I feel the loss of Max so deeply when I least expect it that my sadness surprises me. I hope you know she was a well-loved and cherished cat who left this world with a life well-lived thanks to you, Bob, Cearra, and Owen. I'm so sorry, Jodi.

Oh Jodi, I'm so sorry you have lost Ava. I know how much you love her and did for her. I hope she left an imprint on Owen's life as I know how he loved her too.

Hello,

I'm here for the first time ( I'm one of Deb's friends) and I was touched to see your post.
I can feel your loss; my family lost a very dear cat who was 19 years old last month.

I'm sure like for our kitty, he is up in heaven now.
