Happy Valentine's Day

I will not ever know what it is like to carry a baby, or feel the flutter of a kick. Bob and I will never share that wondrous moment in the delivery room. I will never look at my son and see my eyes or Bob’s smile. And I will admit there were times when this knowledge broke my heart.

But now I hold Owen and know without a doubt he is our child. In his face I see God’s grace, a miracle come true. When he laughs my world is bright; when he sleeps I am at peace. I will be forever thankful for this gift. And now I know it is true – some hearts mend stronger at the broken places.

Sending you all Valentine’s Day love and best wishes; especially Cearra, who first taught me what it is to love a child; Owen, who brings new joy to my life; and Bob, who makes it all possible.

Jodi & Bob,

WOW, Jodi you really need to write books!!

My Mom used to say, the Lord will build you a brige to get you where you need to be. Your brige is now complete, and you have found your pot of gold! You and Bob have two beautiful children, and we are so happy for you.

I'm crying (tears of happiness) too hard to see the keys to type anymore.

Happy Valentine's Day,

Love,
Sherry & Bruce

Happy Valentine's Day to two wonderful people from two very proud parents. You are two of the strongest people we know, Jodi and Bob, and you have so many good things to offer both of your children. Enjoy your time alone with that beautiful son of yours. Our hearts are so full of love, thankfulness and happiness. Thank you for giving us this precious gift. Love to all, Mom and Dad

Jodi (and Bob),

How wonderful! God is truly good. I've kept you in my prayers, and have so enjoyed your blog spot. I don't know of anyone more deserving of this blessing than you, and although I don't know Bob, if you love him that tells me all I need to know. God Bless your family!

I agree with Sherry & Bruce, you should wirte books. I never responded to a blog before so I hope this works. Cathy and I did not have children so I have not felt what you are feeling. I do know Jodi will be a GREAT Mom, Bob will be the quiet Dad and C will be a super big sis. I pray for your safe return and wonderful life together. Can't wait to see you.

I once heard that making the decision to raise a child is to decide to forever have your heart walking around outside of your body. How true!

Looking forward to sharing "mommy" stories, impromptu play dates, neighborhood walks, and fun kiddie field trips!

Miss you!
