Fall Fest Time

Bright amusement rides ... cotton candy, crab pretzels and pit beef ... $3 for the chance to win a blow-up ball ... the smell of mud and manure ... booths selling wood carvings and flowers ... unseasonably hot temps ... ah, Westminster's Fall Fest!

Ready to ride!

Owen helped this little girl up the rope ladder,
then let her go ahead of him down the slide.
So proud of our little gentleman!

We ran into one of Owen's classmates from preschool,
they disagreed a bit on how fast to go up and down!

Sigh - pretend this pic is the right way and I'll try to fix it later.

It's not a Carroll County event without a tractor.

'Fall Fun'... my favorite time of the year. Your description was great, filled the senses, much like the season.

I'm still waiting for the Halloween costume decision...
I know we don't 'vote' anymore, but love to see what Owen decides to wear... it seems like a long time since he was a little, chubby bumble bee... I think I will go back and check out the 'blog archives' and find that 'cute little bee'! Just love this blog... love, Nanny

Oh. my. gosh. I cannot believe that we crossed paths like that! I'm glad I was smiling in the Safeway and not cussing out the checkout girl or something - that would be embarrassing :)

I wish we had actually said hellos - next time I'm in Westminster (likely years from now, but one never knows!) I'll let you know I'm coming!
